What the morning looks like
The boat leaves early, while the water is still flat. The drop-off is close here — the sea floor falls away a few miles out — so you are fishing within half an hour of casting off rather than spending the morning getting there.
The crew rigs the lines, reads the birds and the current, and puts you on the fish. Mahi-mahi run most of the year; marlin and sailfish come through from spring into summer; wahoo and tuna show up in the cooler months. You keep what you catch, and the crew will clean it for you at the dock.
